Cellular shades are a unique style of window treatment used to filter light and add insulation to windows to help save energy and reduce energy costs. Each cell is constructed with a honeycomb-shaped pocket to trap air at the window. This air pocket creates a shield that insulates your home while keeping it shaded.
Honeycomb shades and cellular shades are two names for the same product. The "honeycomb" refers to the specialty shapes of the individual air pockets in each cell of the "cellular shades."
Yes. In fact, it’s normal for dust to build up on the inside of your cellular shades. You can regularly clean cellular shades by lightly dusting them or gently using the vacuum cleaner. To remove embedded stains, spot-treat them with warm water and a mild detergent.
